For you to get pregnant you really need to commit to having acupuncture treatment. If you were doing IVF you wouldn’t miss taking the ovulation inducing drugs because you just didn’t feel like it that day so you really need to have the same attitude with acupuncture. Chances are it won’t happen after your first session (although that’s not unheard of) so to see some really great results give yourself a three month window especially if your cycle has been irregular for some time, or you have been trying for a long time. Each week you need to have at least one session and take the herbs as instructed so before you know it you’ll be ovulating like a champion ready for conception!
Does your partner need to come? He (or she) can if they want to. We would recommend you have the treatments yourself but having your partner come in to make sure they are also in top condition health wise prior to conception is a great idea. If the father has slow swimmers having regular treatment himself will give them some serious up and go. Remember- two halves make a whole so if you are both super healthy and happy you have a much better chance of a successful pregnancy.
We have a strict limit on how many clients we take on each month to ensure that you are thoroughly taken care of and that the time is spent on helping you achieve your goal- a healthy baby. You are not a number, or a another set of ovaries- this is a truly amazing and challenging experience that you are going through and you deserve to be looked after at this time. Take the time to enjoy this experience with your partner as this is certainly the beginning of something truly special.
We look forward to treating you soon!
